Mr. Willman is a Co-Founder of 316 Investments and has served as its CEO nearly from it’s inception. He has a BA with honors in Business and Economics from Hanover College and an MBA in Marketing and Management from Indiana University. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Willman spent several years in corporate management positions with large and mid-sized companies having both domestic and international responsibilities. His primary areas of focus in those roles were finance, marketing, business development and strategy. In the spring of 1998, along with Mr. Salsbery, he formed 316 Investments to make their first investment in an 8 store restaurant concept out of Denver, Colorado called Z-TECA Mexican Grill which would later change it’s name to Qdoba Mexican Grill.
Mr. Willman is a Trustee of Hanover College, a Board Member and Entrepreneur in Residence of the Hanover College Business Scholars Program and also sits on the Board of Directors of the Carmel Dads’ Club youth sports organization. In addition, he holds Board and Advisory roles with various 316 Investments companies. He lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife Karen and their 3 boys, Adam, Beau and Drew.
Mr. Salsbery is a Co-Founder of 316 Investments and has been active since it’s inception, recently taking on the role of CFO. He has a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Hanover College. Prior to the founding of 316 Investments, Mr. Salsbery held positions in sales and sales management with Wallace Computer Services, a large public company. His career turned to operations management, marketing and executive management with Group Dekko, a private, diversified supplier to the automotive, appliance and office furniture industries, ultimately becoming the President of the Automotive Group. In the spring of 1998, along with Mr. Willman, he pursued his entrepreneurial dream by forming 316 Investments.
Mr. Salsbery is on the Board of Directors of the Dekko Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on fostering economic freedom through education. He is also a Trustee of Hanover College. He is a founding member of ELP Investments, LLC, a real estate holding company. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana and has two daughters, Sophia and Olivia.
