A pioneering fast casual Mexican food restaurant chain founded in Denver, Colorado in 1993 which has now grown to over 775 locations nationwide. 316 Investments made a significant investment in 1998 to help the brand expand outside of Colorado by becoming one of it’s 1st franchisees, and in 1999 brought the brand (originally as Z-TECA Mexican Grill) to Indiana. 316 Investments at one time was the largest developer and operator in the system for Qdoba and between 2011 and 2016, they successfully sold nearly 30 locations to Qdoba Restaurant Corporation, after they were acquired by San Diego based Jack in the Box, and other system franchisees.

A “nostalgic” burger and shake concept based in Indianapolis that was founded in 1934 and has stood the test of time. 316 Investments was approached about getting involved with the brand when SNS decided to explore franchising again in 2005 after a long hiatus. 316 took the brand to a new market opening a very successful location in Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina. During our involvement with the brand it was acquired by new ownership. Mr. Willman was the only franchisee asked to join the newly created Office of the Chairman which was chaired by the new owner and current largest shareholder, CEO and Chairman, Sardar Biglari. 316 decided to exit this brand and did so through a very successful sale to a group out of Atlanta, Georgia who has continued to develop the S. Carolina market for SNS.

Founded in 2009 by the late Sahar Sander, Naf Naf (translation: Fan the Flame) opened up shop in an old Taco Bell in Naperville , Il. With a mouthwatering menu and a welcoming environment, Naf Naf quickly grew and now has over 30 locations from New Jersey to Minnesota. 316 Investments is the 1st franchisee, and recently opened up the 1st franchised store in Carmel, IN.
